The District institute of Education and Training in Jharsuguda established as Elementary Training institution in the year 1972, District Resource Centre (DRC) in 2009 and finally to DIET in the year 2014.

It is a matter of honour for me to join as a principal of this esteemed institution having a glorious academic legacy. I am determined to fully utilize my entire potential, experience and energy to ameliorate the standard of DIET Jharsuguda at panchapada to an eminent centre of learning & research.
My focus would be on academic excellence and I would strive that the institute may prove its distinction through imparting quality education, research, pre-service training, in-service training & other academic activities. My focus would be also to provide quality academic and resource support to the teachers.
